Temporary Card Self Registration

Self Registration allows Bristol Residents to have online library privileges until the library is able to reopen. Bristol residents are allowed to register online as a patron of our library. You will be able to access most online library resources. If you do not visit the Bristol Public Library to complete the registration process, after the library reopens, the card will be deleted. 

Please note: If you already have a permanent  library card, from Bristol Public Library or Manross Memorial Library, you do not need to obtain a temporary card in order to access online resources.Click on the button below to get started:

Self Registration

In order to obtain a Bristol Library card, you MUST have one of the following forms of identification that has your CURRENT Bristol address.

Adult Bristol Residents (18 years or older)

  • Connecticut Driver’s License with current Bristol address
  • Automobile Registration
  • Utility Bill (no older than one month)
  • Lease Agreement
  • State of CT Identification Card (looks like a driver’s license)

Library Card Application (PDF)

Bristol students who are either in high school or are at least 14 years old may use one of the following:

  • School ID
  • Report Card
  • School Schedule
  • Parent’s License
  • Parent’s Library Card
  • Connecticut Driver’s License with current Bristol address
  • State of CT Identification Card (which looks like a driver’s license)

Bristol children Under 14:

  • A parent’s or guardian’s signature with acceptable form of adult ID

Para obtener una tarjeta la biblioteca es necesario que dispongas de la siguientes formam de identificacio que tenga su DIRECCION ACTUAL de Bristol.

Los Adultos:

  • Licencia de conducir de Connecticut
  • El registro del automovil
  • Factura de servicios publicos (de no mas de un mes)
  • Contracto de arrendamiento
  • Tarjeta de Identificacion del Estado de Connecticut (se parece a un licencia de conducir)

Estudiantes de Bristol que se encuentren en la escuela secundaria o por los menos 14 anos de edad pueden usar una de las siguientes:
